Where’s the Stud in Your House?

You want to hang that perfect mirror, painting, shelf, or cabinet. If it is on the heavy side, it is important you find a stud in the wall in which to anchor it. Some folks think they can go down the wall knocking on it and when the sound gets denser, they believe they’ve found the stud. Maybe they get it right, but if not, there sure are a lot of needless holes in the wall.
